Todd Day Wait is one of the last genuine workhorses of the American road—a pedal-to-the-metal troubadour whose journey has taken him from Missouri to California, through the streets of New Orleans, and finally to Nashville
His original songwriting is deeply rooted in the bedrock of early American folk, country, and blues. By drawing on sounds from the 1920s through the 1960s, he embodies the raw spirit and authenticity of traditional American music.

A Life Unfiltered: In 2009, Todd left the conventional world behind. He put everything he owned on the curb and hit the road in a diesel shuttle bus powered by vegetable oil, embarking on a never-ending tour. From busking on the corners of New Orleans to performing in the shadow of European castles and lighting up the honky-tonk dance floors of Nashville, Todd consistently keeps it “60/50.”
